110. "Pretty As You Feel" by Jefferson Airplane

One problem with recording a song every day is that some days you feel like you have to puke, and you are therefore inevitably recording a song while you have to puke. This is such a day, and such a song.

It is also, so far as I know, the only flat-out goth cover of a Jefferson Airplane song to feature heavily autotuned vocals and borrowed Michael Stipe lyrics. That may well sound disgustingly high-concept, but for some reason the last minute or so of this recording affects me as deeply emotionally as almost anything I've ever recorded. Then again, I have to puke, so factor that into the equation.

Peronnel: Rex, nauseous
